The Cornerstone Counseling Society of Edmonton, known as Cornerstone Counseling Centre, plans to raise an estimated $77,000 at the 2009 Paddling for Compassion event. It will cost Cornerstone an estimated $33,000 to conduct this event. The money raised will be used to supplement counseling fees so Cornerstone can continue to offer subsidized fees to clients unable to pay the full cost of counselling services. ED Marketing and Communications Inc. is conducting this event and will be renumerated based on a contracted fee for service which is included in the estimated event costs.
